Thursday October 16, 2008  Chicago, IL - ABCAP, Inc's (Anaia's Breast Cancer Awareness Program) founder, Ken Bedford (holding plaque) was honored for his Breast Cancer awareness program that pays for free mammogram screenings for unemployed and uninsured women, by President Todd Stroger and the Cook county Board on Thursday. October is breast cancer awareness month. Bedford started ABCAP, Inc, a not for profit foundation in memory of his wife Anaia, who lost her battle to the disease in April 2004.
